From the planning phase which starts in mid-winter to the execution on the day of the outing, it is a very professional experience. I personally have been to dozens of golf outings over the past 30 years and Willow Creek “Does it Right”. One would think that this is a private club. The day of the outing starts out with a very warm welcome by the staff. They take your clubs from your car, do the preliminary check-in, tell you what your starting holes are and then explain the rest of the registration procedure. The driving range is ready with golf balls neatly stacked in pyramids at each range position.
The golf event itself is spectacular. The tees are clearly marked with only one set of markers, the sponsor signs are placed where they should be and the course is always in spectacular shape, thanks to the Golf Course Superintendent and his crew. You truly think you are on a private course. And then there is the food and drink that does not stop all day. A full and extensive lunch is served prior to the start of the golf and then on the course the halfway house is open, the cart girls keep on passing by and on every third hole there are coolers that have additional drinks on ice. The golf day is then capped off with a full open bar and dinner for three hours. The dining attendants are very well trained and take care of all of the guests throughout the night. This is the same staff that services weddings at Willow Creek, so you can imagine how professional they are. The dining room is set up to accommodate all in attendance as well as locations for the awards and brief presentations.
Bottom Line is if you want to have a great golf outing, book your first one at Willow Creek and I know that you will be back to book your next one there as well.

Having the experience of organizing major golf tournaments for the past ten years, working with the entire staff at Willow Creek Golf and Country Club is truly a pleasure! From the initial planning stage through the actual event, Willow Creek is “by-yourside” to ensure you have the very best tournament possible. The facility is top notch, the course was in great condition, the food and beverage service was exceptional.
The Willow Creek staff made us feel like we were their only customer and that their golf course was our home. Willow Creek Golf and Country Club has been a tremendous partner in helping our golf outing reach new heights.

If you are thinking of a location to host a great golf event, you should consider the Hamlet at Willow Creek at the top of the short list of possible facilities on Long Island. This is a professionally run golf and country club that will have participants in your event talking about it for a long time after. St. Louis de Montfort has held its 9th and 10th Annual Fund Raiser Golf Outing at Willow Creek after having it at various locations for the first 8 years. We are contracted for the next two years at Willow Creek and I can attest that as the Chairman of the St. Louis Golf Committee, people have said that the best of our outings have been at Willow Creek. This year we had 120 golfers participate and 170 for the cocktail hour/dinner and was another huge success and a great time had by all.
