Wildflower Country Club is a natural gem in the Temple golf community. Nestled among rolling, green hills and graced with meandering natural ponds, Wildflower’s 18-hole golf course has some of the most unrivaled holes in the Central Texas area. Designed by Leon Howard, Wildflower offers a challenging and rewarding experience for the avid golfer, whether novice or professional.
Opened for play in 1987, Wildflower has been the host of several Texas golf tournaments. The club annually hosts the Starburst Junior Golf Classic and TAPPS 5A State Championship. The Texas State Amateur qualifying has been conducted at Wildflower, in addition to the TGA Father-Son Championship.
The current Wildflower course record is held by three professional golfers; Andy Dillard, Cade Stone and Lance Combrink.
