What do you enjoy going outside of the Fitness Center? I have been an artist for many years and participate in fine art festivals across the country.  I also enjoy hiking and traveling.

Your family?

Your life?

I have been married for many years and have two sons.  One lives in Kingwood, and other lives in Boston.  We were raised on the east coast and have lived in Texas for over 35 years.  We have two adorable rescue dogs that provide a lot of laughs and love.
Why did you become a personal trainer? I saw the benefits of exercise and clean eating in my own life and had a desire to help others achieve the same level of fitness.
What else do you aspire to do with your life? I intend to stay healthy and fit for many years to come.  I will continue to enjoy painting and traveling.

Philosophy Use it or lose it. Your body adapts to the demands that you put on it. As you age or retire, it is easy to forget about maintaining your body. Unless you continue to push your body, physically, you lose strength, muscle, and your functional ability.

What do you enjoy doing outside of the fitness center?

After a day at the gym, I enjoy hanging with my family and friends, but most times its food, nice chair and the TV. On a complete day off I like to fish, hike, bike, kid stuff (Laser tag, go carts etc.).  I promise I do it just for them. In my solitary time, I will be reading and writing.

Your family?

I grew up on a ranch in east Texas and been in Houston since I was ten. My mom had 10 brothers and sisters. My cousins have kids, their kids have kids, I have kids. The family lives all over the U.S and one in Sweden. My family needs a manual.

Why Personal training? I had my first gym membership and Personal trainer at 13, started working at a gym when I was 16. I fell in love with the atmosphere. Growing with people and growing myself. Helping pass   on the knowledge I have attained is a great pay it forward feeling. The best thing about the gym business is the friends you make.
What would you like to achieve next in your life? Continue my work in and outside the gym. Complete all of my solitary hobbies, such as my writings.
