David DiRenzo joined ClubCorp in 2017 with an extensive Golf and Food and Beverage background. He is a proud Floridian growing up in Greater Fort Lauderdale. He spent his youth working on the grounds crew mowing greens on the weekends and the outside operations staff during the week at numerous South Florida Private Clubs. He was an accomplished junior golfer holding a +4.2 handicap index prior to a hand injury that ended his competitive playing aspirations. He has worked at Multiple Platinum and Emerald Clubs of the World (Top 100 Clubs) including Adios Golf Club (Assistant Golf Professional and Assistant Caddy Master), The Country Club at Mirasol where he did a 4 year Rotational Management program working in every department in the Club, and Naples Yacht Club (Assistant General Manager). Most recently he led the turnaround of the Tower Club in Fort Lauderdale where he grew the membership by over 150 members in his first 18 months at the Club and raised member satisfaction scores into the top 10% of ClubCorp.
David graduated with honors from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance, Hospitality Management, and Professional Golf Management. DiRenzo continued his love of education and received his PGA card in 2009, his PGA Certified General Manager Certification in 2010, and his Certified Club Manager Designation in 2013. David has had the privilege of working with 2 Master Chef Candidates and earned his Sommelier Certification in 2014.
DiRenzo married his college sweetheart, Lauren, who is a CPA with BDO. They have two energetic children, Caden, 7 and Emily, 4. DiRenzo has a love for life, learning, his community and spending time with his family as a doting husband and father.
He serves on numerous Councils with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce on the advisory board of the R. Motwani Family Academy of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Broward College and on the Business Development Committee for the First Tee of Broward County. He looks to continue his community outreach as he relocates his family into the Tampa area.

It is my greatest pleasure to be your Membership Director. I am a Tampa native and joined Tampa Palms in August of 2018.
I have been a part of the ClubCorp family since September of 2017 where I was the Assistant Director of Memberships as well as a Pro Shop attendant at Hunter’s Green Country Club. I am excited to share the Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club lifestyle with the community and to help your club thrive!
In my spare time you can find me playing golf on our beautiful course, at Disney with my family or playing with my fur baby Sergio!
Chloe Blakeman grew up in Newtown, Connecticut before she came to Tampa in 2018 to finish her college career at USF. Chloe graduated magna cum laude from USF in July of 2020 with her Bachelor of Science in Marketing. In August of 2019, she began working as the Pro Shop attendant at Tampa Palms, where she loved interacting with Members, scoring tournaments, and helping the golf department in any way possible. Now, Chloe will be serving as Tampa Palms' Member Experience Manager, where she will bring new and exciting ideas into fruition for our Members!Since moving to Florida in 2018, Chloe has thoroughly enjoyed the weather, people, and lifestyle of the beautiful sunshine state. Some of her hobbies include rollerblading at Flatwoods, relaxing with her cat Cordelia, and spending time outside with friends.
I grew up in Excelsior, Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a Bachelor's in Communication and New Media Studies. Moved to Florida in 2015 and can't get enough of the sunshine and palm trees! I live on Harbour Island in Tampa with my boyfriend (fun fact, we share the same birthday). Prior to Tampa Palms, I was the Catering Sales Manager for Saltblock Hospitality at the Tampa Museum of Art and the Glazer Children's Museum. Before that, I was a Food + Beverage Manager for Red Frog Events traveling around the country for Music Festivals, Airshows, and NASCAR races. I love running, yoga, and live music. My spare time is spent at the beach, a new local restaurant, or on a plane.
Kevin Kenny is a native-born Floridian, in Pensacola and was raised in Tallahassee. He attended the University of South Florida and graduated with honors in 1989 with a double major in Finance and Marketing. KK has been a PGA Member for 22 years now. In 2014, he was voted North Florida PGA / West Conference Chapter Teacher of the year and currently teaches PGA Tour Member, George McNeill. He has also previously been the North Florida PGA Player of the Year.
Kevin’s goal is to make the golf experience the best it can possibly be at Tampa Palms for every level of golfer through the professional implementation of teaching programs and varied tournament activities.

Email Troy Wetherington
Troy Wetherington brings us 25 years of golf course experience and his education is from Florida A&M BS and North Florida College AA. Troy originally began his career as the assistant to his oldest brother who was a Superintendent at Jefferson Country Club. He worked at that course for 16 years and 8 years as Superintendent under Former PGA professional David Jackson. In 2003, he completed his first renovation and grow-in to USGA specifications. Troy has worked with multiple PGA tour players to better his understanding of course playability.
Troy joined the Club Corp family in 2016 as Assistant at Tampa Palms under Mickey Subotic. Ten months later, he accepted the Superintendent position at DeBary Golf & Country Club. After two-plus years at DeBary, it was time for him to return to the Tampa Palms Family as our Golf Course Superintendent.

Kenneth comes to us with a wealth of experience creating successful Tennis Programs for all level players.
A Rockport, MA native, Ken has been a tennis professional since 1982. He was ranked junior player and a top ten Men's A player. Ken represented New England at the 1st Olympic qualifier in 1983 at Flushing Meadows, New York, site of the U.S. Open. He received a full scholarship after high school at Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Later on he received a full tennis scholarship at Middle Tennessee State University NCCA Division 1, where he played #1 singles.
He comes to us from The Wanderers Club of Wellington (2014-2019) where in a short 5 years he revamped the entire tennis program. His biggest accomplishment at the club was his Palm Beach County Women's Tennis Association (PBWTA) team which captured 4 championship titles in 5 years.
Ken is USPTA certified - Elite Pro since 2000, and certified USTA High-Performance Coach since 2006. He has one son attending college, and another son senior in high school.
Jeff Verberg was born and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He is married to Tamara and has an eighteen-year-old son that attends college in Clearwater. He has been in the Food and Beverage business his whole life and got his start, like his brothers and sisters, in his Mum Mum's restaurant outside of Philadelphia. Jeff has been managing people since he was seventeen and loves to build relationships and make people feel cared for both with his guests and fellow co-workers. He went to high school and college and did the early part of his professional hospitality career in the Orlando Florida area where he met his wife. After that, he was in Houston Texas for a number of years where he ran The Tasting Room and several other high-end restaurants and groups. The last seven-plus years he has reopened the historic Blue Bell Inn and has run the Food and Beverage at Jericho National Golf Club in New Hope Pennsylvania. Now relocated back to the Greater Tampa Bay area recently to be closer to family and very excited to be at Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club overseeing the Food and Beverage Department.

Email Nicolas Mut
Executive Chef Nicolas Mut has been in the industry his entire life growing up with his family owning a restaurant. He professionally started his culinary career in Mexico at Andersons Group. His culinary career brought him to the states in 1999 and has lived all over the country.
FUN FACT: Chef Nicolas has catered for three of our United States Presidents!
My favorite part of my position in the club is making the Members feel special!

Email Paul Ferrier
A native of Edinburgh Scotland, Paul moved to the US in 2008 and played college golf at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he graduated with a degree in Psychology with a minor in History. During his time at Charlotte, Paul was named A-10 All-Conference team as a freshman and Senior. Paul returned home during the summers where he won the 2011 East of Scotland Championship, reached the 2012 Amateur Championship semi-finals at Royal Troon and represented Scotland on the Home International Winning Team of 2012.
Paul turned professional in 2013 and returned to the US where he competed on tours such as the eGolf Tour, PGA Tour Canada and local mini-tours throughout Florida.
Paul joined the Tampa Palms team in May 2018 and aims to encourage the enthusiasm for the game through his experience and passion for golf.

Tina has been the club accountant at Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club since 2002. Originally from Cameron County, Pennsylvania, she went on to pursue a degree from the University of South Carolina, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1996. Tina’s career with Clubcorp began in December of 1996. She worked for several ClubCorp properties throughout the southeast before ending up in Tampa.
Tina has a wonderful family and has been married to her husband, Keirnan, for 22 years. Tina has three children and two grandchildren. She enjoys vacationing with my family, Disney, and the beach.
